What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through discovercolorcoded.com. It does not apply to information shared through other channels, such as direct email, phone conversations, workshops, speaking engagements, or client work.

Information we collect

When you use a contact or sign-up form, you may provide your first name, email address, and the message or details you choose to share. The form you select may also tell us whether you are reaching out about a general conversation, speaking or facilitation, or keeping in touch.

The website, its hosting provider, and the services used to operate forms may also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, and security or interaction signals.

How we use information

• To respond to an inquiry or continue a conversation you initiated.
• To understand and follow up on speaking, facilitation, or collaboration requests.
• To send Color Coded updates when you choose to keep in touch and verify your email address.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the website and its forms.
• To meet applicable legal or business-record obligations.

Color Coded does not sell or rent personal information. The site is not currently using dedicated advertising or analytics trackers.

Third-party services

Color Coded uses a small number of service providers to operate this website:

• Kit hosts the website’s contact and email sign-up forms and processes submitted information on Color Coded’s behalf. Kit’s Data Processing Addendum explains its handling of subscriber data.
• Google reCAPTCHA helps protect forms from spam and abuse. Google may process technical, device, and interaction information under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used on the site. When your browser requests those files, Google may receive ordinary technical request data.
• Website hosting supports delivery, security, and reliability and may maintain standard server logs.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or investigate fraud or misuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

Color Coded does not currently use advertising cookies. Kit, Google reCAPTCHA, and the website’s hosting infrastructure may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies that are necessary to deliver forms, remember technical state, and prevent spam, fraud, or abuse.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may prevent a form or other site feature from working correctly.

How long information is kept

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, manage the email relationship you requested, provide services, maintain appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations. Retention may also depend on the settings and requirements of the service providers listed above.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information Color Coded holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable. If you receive email updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in those messages.
